Hi, I’m Scott.
I am currently working full time as a Software Engineering Manager with 15 years of experience building Enterprise Solutions using Agile Methodologies. I’m a skilled professional, passionate about People Development and building high-quality solutions that delight customers.
I have experience managing multiple teams with up to 9 people building microservices for the Enterprise Platform as well as building a platform in the cloud. Currently leading a company wide initiative to migrate our entire on-prem OpenStack environment (over 1000 VMs) to AWS cloud.
On top of my management and leadership duties, I spend my time improving my people development and leadership skills. I also continue learning about the latest technologies and acquiring new certifications, such as the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
I also spend as much time as I can with my family outside of work. I am using the last little sliver of time I have to get back into shape, learn 3D modeling, and digital drawing.
I want this to be a place where I can share my knowledge and experience learning and working as a Software Engineer and as a Software Engineering Manager.
